About the function
As a Logistics Coordinator, you organize and supervise the daily warehouse and expedition operations. You’re responsible for the flow of goods, quality checks, inventory management and coordination of transport. You work in a self-steering team, where together you ensure the timely delivery and quality of outgoing shipments.
Your tasks include:
•Leading, coaching and motivating the logistics team
•Planning and coordinating both internal and external logistics processes
•Managing stock levels and ensuring timely deliveries
•Communicating with external carriers and suppliers
•Maintaining a clean and organized working area (5S principles)
•Hands-on role – you’re not afraid to jump in and help
About the company
Our client provides customers with a comprehensive solution for the supply of metal products, coordinating the entire process including procurement, production, surface treatment, warehousing, assembly, packaging, quality assurance, and export.
What we need
• MBO-level education or similar work experience
- Understanding of Dutch language is a big pre!
• Skilled in working with software systems
• Forklift license is required, plus experience is even better
• You enjoy working hands-on and proactively
• Able to switch quickly in a dynamic environment
• Independent but also a real team player
